Two Bocce Ball Lanes Free Games!

Bocci’s Cellar was built in 1892 and was home of the Joseph Urbani family.  The historic building was first called Urbani’s and brought the Italian game of Bocce to Santa Cruz.  Today Bocci’s Cellar’s walls are adorned with cool black & white photos of the family and friends eating and celebrating the good life.  The Urbanis, prominent in the local Italian community, raised their own vegatables and livestock and even made their own wine on the property.  Add in the Bocci Ball courts and the perfect venue for an Italian restaurant was born.  Those new to Santa Cruz, UCSC students, visitors and even old timers will find a mini local history course on view here.
